Dust Muzzle 4"-5" Ultra Universal Dust Muzzle, Clamshell (DMU5CS)

The Dust Muzzle Ultra Universal Dust Muzzles fit all 4-5” or 7-9” electric and pneumatic angle grinders.

The side-mounted exhaust port that uses the centrifugal forces created by the grinding wheel sends the dust into the vacuum hose. With this design, it needs much less vacuum suction to remove the dust from the workplace.

The Dust Muzzle Ultra is attached to the bearing housing of the grinder with a hose clamp. The collapsible fingers of the collar together with the stretchable adapter ring allow the Dust Muzzle Ultra to be adapted to any grinder.

It can be used with 7” diamond cup wheels and 8” soft pad sanding discs. It is excellent for removing fiberglass, silica, hexavalent chromium, epoxy, and other toxic dusts, so the contractor can easily become more compliant with OSHA and EPA workplace regulations.

Fabricator's Tip: It is recommended that the operator purchase a step-down hose. This is an intermediate hose that slides into the Dust Muzzle exhaust port and attaches to the end of the industrial vacuum hose. (See below related products)
