GlossFire-F Straight Edge polishing disks by Superabrasive work with any automated straight edge shaping wet-polishing multi-head machine using the popular snail lock adapter. They work best with a maximum feed speed of 65 cm/minute, with a pressure of 4-5 bars.
Toro is perfect for Marmoelettromeccanica, USG Machinery, Park Industries, Comandulli, Sasso, Breton, CMPI, Montresor, Omega and other machines. The flat edge polishing disks optimize the productivity cycle by achieving ready-to-install countertops with a single pass. They come in 4”, 5” and 6”, resin or copper bond.

Use for granite and marble. Yields better finish and faster results, eliminates work piece end scratches.
Application:
- For 5 head machines, start with 100 grit resin and follow with 200, 500, 1000, 2000 grit resin.
- For 6 head machines, start with 100 grit resin and follow with 200, 500, 1000, 2000 grit and Buff resin.
- For 8 head machines, start with 100 grit copper and follow with 100 grit resin. After that, continue with 200 grit copper, 200, 500, 1000, 2000 grit and Buff resin.
- For 9 head machines, start with 100 grit copper and follow with 50 grit resin. After that, continue with 100 grit resin, 200 grit copper, then 200, 500, 1000, 2000 grit and Buff resin.
Note: For very rough or deep scratches, it is recommended to begin with copper bond wheels first.
Start at 29 PSI (2 bars) and increase the pressure by 3.0 PSI (0.2 bars) at each consequent step.
For example, if you start with 100 grit, you have to set the machines at 29 PSI.
- For 200 grit – 32 PSI,
- 500 grit – 35 PSI,
- 1000 grit – 38 PSI,
- 2000 grit – 41 PSI
- and Buff – 44 PSI.
